4 Unique Habits that Can Help You End Every Day with a Sense of Accomplishment

If you want to accomplish big things in life, you have to start with small steps.  Unfortunately, people often lose sight of the fact that the journey to greatness is a combination of small decisions.  Daily decisions.  Every little thing you do with the 24 hours that comprise a day can either make you, or break you.  Which is why you should always strive to seize the day.

Every New Day is a Blessing:

Best-Selling Author Joshua Becker advises that “Our lives are a large collection of single days one right after the other. The sun rises, sets, and rises again. And in the end, the lives we choose to live will be determined by how we choose to spend each day…  Today is among the greatest gifts we have ever been given. Let’s use it wisely and refuse to waste a single one.” Here are a few tips on how to make every day a success-story:

      I.        Breath at Least 1 Hour of Fresh Air:

People spend so much time indoors, they can go for weeks without ever staring at the sky… unless it’s through a window.  Step outside and get some fresh air.  It will oxygenate your body and energize it.

    II.        Take a Walk:

Health experts recommend at least half an hour of daily physical fitness to stay healthy.  But you don’t need to do high impact cardio 24/7.  Sometimes a relaxing leisurely walk can do the trick.

   III.        Switch Off Your Devices:

One of the best things you can do for the sake of your mental health is to make a portion of your day sacred.  Take a break from all the social media and simply meditate in noiseless organic thought.

   IV.        Recite Some Affirmations:

Motivating yourself with affirmations is a good way to regain perspective on life.  Especially if you live in an environment with a lot of distractions.  Start by listing five things you’re grateful for, and use that emotional momentum to encourage yourself.

The key to figuring out how to make the most out of your daily life is simple. Discipline.  Being coordinated and deliberate helps people keep sight of their ultimate goals.  It helps you think efficiently, creatively and productively.
